How to use Google Talk

1. Download Google Talk.

2. Sign in with myprojectecho id and password.

3. Add ECHO team members.

Google Talk

Google Talk helps ECHO team (internal and external) communicate more effectively and efficiently. It provides a simple and free way to speak with and exchange instant messages with our team members.  My Project ECHO IM (instant messenger) network is automatically connected to the whole Google Talk network, so you can instantly connect with each other.

Google Talk also offers file transfers so you can quickly send attachments while you're instant messaging, and voicemail so you can leave a message when your contacts aren't online.

Google Talk instant messaging is integrated into the ECHO mail browser window, so you can see when your contacts are online and connect with them in real-time without leaving your inbox. Your IM conversations can be saved and searched within ECHO mail, just like email conversations.  

If you use a BlackBerry® smartphone, you can download the Google Talk application to your device and use Google Talk when you're away from your computer. Just browse to http://www.blackberry.com/GoogleTalk from your BlackBerry® smartphone to download the application.
